If you live in a humid climate, keeping your home comfortable can be a challenge.
3 things you can do:
- Install a humidistat to work in sync with your air conditioner. The humidistat will prompt the air conditioner to turn on and off in response to your home’s humidity level rather than just the house’s internal temperature.
- Replace your system’s PSC motor with an energy-efficient Evergreen ECM motor. The ECM motor is made to run constantly at low speed, which keeps air circulating through your house at all times. Constant air flow makes a tremendous difference in moderating the humidity in your house.
- If your system is older than 10 years, you might just need to upgrade to a new, high-efficiency system powered by Genteq ECM technology.
Ask your Contractor:
Would I benefit from installing a humidistat? Should I upgrade to a system with ECM technology?
